Turn an opportunity into a business that works. We design business models, evaluate new markets, redesign operations and build the systems required to make the change stick.
Put defensible numbers behind investment decisions. We help companies and investors value businesses and assets, evaluate transactions, build financial models and understand the risks behind an investment decision.
Know where the opportunity is, and what makes it worth pursuing. We turn market, industry, economic and policy data into evidence for market selection, competitiveness, investment prioritisation and long-term strategy.
We build the scope around the decision you need to make, not around a pre-set consulting package.
We understand the business decision and the policy environment around it.
Where required, we stay through implementation.
Every engagement is led directly by a director.

Measure what matters. Market potential, value, risk and competitive position become evidence that can be tested.

Make it work. Where required, stay through implementation until the process or system is running.
This FAQ helps prospective clients understand how YATRA works without having to read every service page.
YATRA works on decisions that need a stronger basis before capital, time or resources are committed, such as market expansion, valuation and transactions, business building, operating redesign, market intelligence, and economic or policy analysis. If your question does not fit neatly into a listed service, start with the decision; the scope can be built around it.
No. You do not need to choose the method or service package first. Tell us what you are deciding, what you do not yet know and when the decision is due; we will help define the most relevant scope.
Yes. We do not force a client question into a standard consulting package. The scope, analytical approach, team and outputs are built around the problem and decision you need to resolve.
No. Sector experience provides context, but YATRA scopes work around the decision rather than an industry template. We can assess needs in other sectors where the problem matches our capabilities.
No. We work with companies, investors, owner-managed businesses, industry associations and public institutions. The size of the engagement follows the complexity of the decision, not simply the size of the organisation.
Start with one decision or problem you want to test. After an initial conversation, we assess the need, available evidence, timeline and required depth before recommending an appropriate engagement format.
It depends on the complexity and required outputs. A Diagnostic Sprint typically takes 2–3 weeks, a Decision Study around 6–12 weeks, while an Integrated Engagement may run for 3–9 months; the final timeline is set once the scope is agreed.
Outputs follow the decision that needs to be made. Depending on the scope, they may include a feasibility study, valuation model, market shortlist, decision paper, financial model, strategic roadmap, operating blueprint or working system.
Both are possible. Some engagements end with a decision-ready recommendation; others continue into operating-model design, process redesign, system implementation or execution oversight until the change is working.
Initial conversations and all engagements are handled confidentially, with an NDA where required. Every engagement is director-led, so the people who understand your decision remain involved from framing through delivery.
Tell us what you are deciding, what you do not yet know and when the decision needs to be made. We will recommend the right scope.
